HORRIBLE!!!!
I put these shelves together & it was NOT worth the hassle of having them sent to me or buying them. The shelves are VERY wobbly, not stable AT ALL when put together. When you have huge, heavy college books to place in them this will not work, I shipped all 3 back for a refund. There was also missing paint in the wood & the mistakes were of course on the side that was facing out to be seen. I put one shelf together & had 3 screws that were already stripped before I even did anything to the shelf, no thanks, not for this type of price! DO NOT BUY these shelves if you want something sturdy!

Flimsy
This bookshelf looks better and larger in the picture than it is.
It arrived with some damage here and there.
You might use it for dvd/cd's and light books.
I had two guys who have assembled many of these type of shelves put it together and they were also surprised at the low quality. It is shaky and we will not attempt to fill all the shelves, lest it falls apart.
BUT, I still give it two stars, because if you need it for dvd/cd's only and you know how narrow it is and you can wedge it in close to a wall, it might be a nice looking piece, after all.

Great Shelf
It's a bit of a pain to put together, I had to get my friend to help. But once we got it up and we vacummed it down it was actually very nice and I hold not only books but CD's and other items on it.
Very nice shelf for it's price, worth the buy.

Surprising durable construction
When putting this together, you notice that it's made of particle board, something not generally receptive to "overtightening". But the construction on this, coupled with bolt type inserts, makes this very durable, Even the composition of the board is high quality. So far, have owned this for a month and, since I got it for the kid's library, it has seen many instances of being climbed upon, and hasn't shown the slightest bit of complaint.
