This computer desk, while modern and stylish, is designed for maximum comfort. Unlike cheaper desks that are made out of inexpensive plywood that bend and sag after a few months of use, our desks are made out of heavy-duty MDF board which is ultra strong and is certain to provide years of exceptional performance. This desk features heavy-duty double wheels that are hooded for your safety. Two of the wheels have locking mechanisms to keep your computer cart in place. The integrated wire CD racks will hold dozens of CD/DVD jewel cases. The desk has a slide-out keyboard tray that is ergonomically positioned to minimize wrist fatigue and make long periods of typing as comfortable as possible. The printer shelf on top of the desk will accommodate most inkjet printers, including wide-format photo quality printers. This desk was designed to get your complete PC unit into the smallest possible space. The overall footprint of the desk is 30.25 inches wide and 17.75 inches deep. The desk is 49.5 inches tall. Most CPUs will fit in the bottom CPU shelf. The surfaces are finished with a scuff resistant Red Oak color PVC material. And the bracing is a black powder coated metal. Assembly required. Style and function are good, but one of the the workstation wheel inserts has already failed and has to be balanced with a telephone book. Price of item was atractive but shipping and handling charges were excessive
