Good product
This product seems to be well constructed. Have only used it for a few weeks but works good. Will see how it works next year when I go camping.

Nice and bright with a solid case
A nice flashlight. Has a good wide angle beam with plenty of light for short to medium range (very bright up to 50ft or so). The battery life is decent, and since it uses 4 AA's you can easily use rechargeable batteries.
The only negative point is the battery tray. It's a plastic container that comes out of the light and holds the 4 AA's. It really could have been done better, or integrated into the flashlight to allow simply dropping the batteries in. As it is, you open the light (a twist off cap), pull out the battery tray, and then fight a bit with it to get the batteries in and out of it (it's spring loaded and a bit on the flimsy side). After that, you slide it back into the light, and put the cap back on. While this is a bit a a nuisance it's not a major issue.
All and all a decent light.

Finally -- A Full Powered LED Flashlight
In hindsight, I should have give this flashlight 5 stars. I compared my old standard 2 D cell MagLite to this LED flashlight in a dark room. The 100 LED flashlight fills the room with reasonably even bluish lighting. The MagLite puts out its standard yellow light focused in a fairly concentrated area which drops off dramatically beyond the concentrated circle in the middle. When superimposing the two lights, the LED flashlight completely drowns out the MagLite in all by the concentrated yellow center. Overall, this LED light is far superior to the MagLite. In fairness to MagLite, they are offering a single 3 Watt LED upgrade available here in Amazon. I've ordered the MagLite upgrade, but have yet to receive it. Back to the LED flashlight being reviewed, it appears the barrel was originally designed for two C cells, but they adapted it for four AA cells. The housing of the flashlight is almost like a MagLite in construction, really robust.
