Buyer Reviews
Average Buyer Rating: out of 5 stars

Customer Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - JUNK shouldn't even deserve one star...
This product is constructed of cheap plastic... shades, joints, everything! The post does not assemble correctly and therefore leans or tilts to the side. The tiny lightweight base does not adequately support the top heaviness of the lamp and the entire lamp easily falls over. The lamp head joints do not swivel without out force which will crack them. The lamp shades do not stay on, and upon one of my attempts to replace the lamp shade, my hand was cut on the sharp plastic edges. This product should be taken off the market. It is a FIRE and CHILD SAFETY HAZARD!

Customer Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Terrible Product
When you buy a cheap lighting product, you pretty much expect something to be wrong with it out of the box. This one, though, takes the cake. First, it buzzes loudly whenever turned on. Second, the stand is made of a flimsy quasi-tinfoil material that wobbles and seems unable to support its own weight. It's been three days since we've had it, and it's already bowed. Third, the cans which hold the lightbulbs are horribly flimsy plastique and don't correctly align with the bulb-stands. The joint-grooves of the cans are somehow already stripped, causing one of the three lights to point limply at the ground.

So, we bought junk knowing it was junk. But somehow, this remarkable confluence of such multiple levels of shoddy craftsmanship still managed to surprise us. Possibly the worst product ever constructed by sober or at least light-responsive vertabrates.

Well played, Grandich Corp!

Customer Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - "A No Quality Tree-Lamp"
THIS IS A NO"QUALITY lAMP"---SAVE YOUR MONEY-SPEND A LITTLE MORE & GET SOMETHING THAT WORKS-REVIEWS BEFORE ME HAVE SAID IT ALL-THIS CERTAINLY BRINGS A NEW MEANING TO THE WORD "CHEAP" ALONG WITH NO QUALITY----------YOU LIVE & LEARN IF YOU'RE LUCKY-THANKS

Customer Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Cheapest lamp ever created!
Here's the bottom line: When the advertised product isn't displayed, chances are you're getting a lemon. That's completely the case with this product.

I did some research before purchasing, beyond reading the myriad of negative reviews. In all honesty, I wanted a cheap lamp that I could use to illuminate my very poorly lit kitchen (due to 70's florescent lighting unable to be changed properly) and one that uses regular bulbs.

After checking out various other pages on this product, I came to the conclusion that people thought it was functional, just not worth the $25 price tag.

When I purchased it, it was only $12.99, so I couldn't go wrong. Right? WRONG!!!

First problem: The box that housed the product looked like it has seen better days. No problem, it's what's on the inside that counts. (My a--)

Second: The lamp on the second "tree" light was completely cracked, with exposed wiring and leaning against the pole. This one just wasn't going to be used. But you know what? I said it's fine, because I only really need two lamps to brighten up the kitchen anyway.

Third: The top tree lamp is MISSING THE LIGHT SWITCH!!! So I can't even turn it on!

Fourth: After attaching the very cheap plastic shades which warn to not use a bulb hotter than 60 watts (yeah, we're following that rule) I noticed that there was ANOTHER CRACK in the one tree lamp that was functional!

That was the last straw for me, and I was two seconds away from returning this product for a full refund to Amazon, but then I weighed it all out:

1. I'd have to repackage this piece of shale and tape up the box and know that it will be given to another poor customer as this one was probably given to me after being returned. Can't do that to another human being.

2. I'd have to bring it to my local post office, meaning spend time I don't wish to spend waiting online to deal with a $13 lost purchase.

3. Finally, it was $13. A $13 lesson which says, "Hey, You, MORON: If there's no picture on the page, most of the reviews are negative, and most people would never EVER complain so loudly about a lamp, you should probably NOT PURCHASE THIS THING!"

So I'll take my medicine on this one and hope that the one surviving lamp at least lasts me a year of use in my living room (not kitchen, it doesn't light enough with just one lamp).

Do yourself a favor: AVOID THIS LAMP AT ALL COSTS. $13 is better spent on a good movie, a lunch for two, dinner for one or at least spare money in your pocket, but not for this lamp. Buy something better.
