The scale itself is great, but someone at PC-GURU is a liar. First, in their rebuttal of my first rating, PC-GURU claims I never asked for a refund of the return postage I paid to return the broken scale I first received. This is absolutely NOT TRUE! I did request they pay the return postage in my e-mail about receiving the broken scale, and they did not even acknowledge the request except to refer me to Amazon policies stating I would be responsible for returns. Amazon itself refunded my postage. Second, PC-GURU claims they sent me a replacement quickly; this is also untrue. I sent the broken scale with signature confirmation per Amazon instructions; the replacement took TWO WEEKS to arrive at my home. I STAND BY EVERYTHING I SAID IN MY ORIGINAL REVIEW AND RATING OF THIS SELLER. NOW I ADD--WATCH OUT!!!! PC-GURU LIES! Order the scale from someone else--it's a great scale, but PC-GURU is NOT trustworthy!

Customer Rating: - Perfect Scale for Soap Making
I saw this scale on a website for soap making supplies. It was recommended for it's capacity and because it was accurate and has a faceplate cover. They were charging almost twice as much for the same scale. I have used it to make soap and it is perfect. The price included an AC adapter, which is usually 7 dollars extra. This was a great deal on this product.

This scale works great! You do need to make sure that the weigh plate is seated firmly in order to get accurate measurements, but that is not difficult to do. Just something to keep in mind if you have problems with inaccuracies. Easy to read display, and accurate measurements. I would recommend this scale.
