Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A Great Solution
This is a great product. I didn't want a cooler that requires a fan and this one works great. Plus it folds up and is so portable. The other bonus I didn't expect is that it raised the laptop to a wonderul and ergonomically correct height (tilts up in back) and makes using the keyboard much easier. I got this one for my daughter to take to college but have taken it over myself so now I have to order her another one!

Customer Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Attractive and functional
I use this stand alot. It is very functional, holding my 17" powerbook firmly in place and about 2" off table.
I chose this stand over a cooling pad due to the portability and attractiveness. However, this stand does not "scoot" easily across a table. If it is moved, the legs release wide and my laptop falls. This is due to the rubberized feet.

Customer Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Reasonable cooling and mobility
Targus has a winner on its hands with this very simple design. I can't carry any of the active fan cooling designs on the road with me because they're so big, and they don't seem to have that big an effect anyway. Just a little air underneath the laptop is all I can really do to help make the computer run a little cooler.

I just wish these things were cheaper. That could certainly happen if there were more competitors with similar designs, but somehow, no viable competition yet.

If you really wanted to save money, just buy two door stops or round door knob stoppers, and just use them to prop up the upper corners of the laptop. The idea is the same, but I'm paying $30 for a more elegant way to lift up the laptop from the surface.

Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Perfect Solution!
This simple and very efficient product solves three problems: 1)it keeps your laptop cool by raising it slightly off the tabletop; 2)it tilts your laptop at a perfect angle for more comfortable typing; and 3)it folds up for light and easy travel.

I have given several to friends, who always rave about how much they love the little stand, and how much their wrists love it too!

Best of all, this product is difficult to find in stores, so having it available on Amazon has solved many a gift search for me.
